St. Paul’s Bethany School is an English Medium School for Girls and boys owned and managed by Bethany Sisters (SIC) under the Malankara Catholic Diocese of Muvattupuzha. The School is situated in the heart of Kolenchery town on the KolencheryPerumbavoor road, very close to Ernakulam- Muvattupuzha main road St. Paul’s School was started in the year 1980 by Rt. Rev. Issac Mar Yohanoon, the late Bishop of Thiruvalla as a preprimary school. The CBSE stream which started in 2005- 2006 is running effectively. The main aim of the school is to give basic training to young children of Kolenchery and its surroundings, irrespective of caste and creed, with deep motives of sound morals and discipline. The aim and objective of the school is directed towards the formation, growth and development of the whole personality of the student inspired by high values of life. The management and well trained staff of the school will be totally dedicated to that purpose. Thus this school is the outcome of the expansion of the Malankara Catholic Church and its mission in the field of education, through the Bethany Province in the Diocese of Muvattupuzha. We recognize our responsibility to work hand in hand with parents and relevant social agencies as appropriate to meet the social emotional and academic needs of the students.

Every individual is a unique creation. God has shaped man in a special way and bestowed upon him many blessings according to the purpose and plan for his life. The rich deposits God has placed in every student need to be discovered, revealed and multiplied; and education serves best, to fulfill this purpose. It is the apt tool in successfully bringing to light the treasure that lies dormant within the student. Here at St. Paul’s Bethany School, education is imparted with a strong focus on this concept. Activities pertaining to Language, Mathematics, Science and other subjects that enhance knowledge, provide hands-on experience and provide opportunities for growth are carefully studied and introduced. It helps the students to bring out the best in them thereby identifying their areas of strength and God-given talents. The students acquire a clear understanding of what they are and what they could become.
